Stray Kids' Japanese meet and greet event draws 160,000 fans

Boy band Stray Kids held its first Japanese offline meet and greet event, meeting 160,000 Japanese fans.

Titled “Stray Kids Fan Connecting 2024 ‘SKZ Toy World,’” the meet and greet event was held at the Kyocera Dome in Osaka on April 6 and 7 followed by events at the Belluna Dome, located in Saitama on Saturday and Sunday. Saitama is located near Tokyo.

All four performances sold out, bringing a total of 160,000 fans of Stray Kids together. Only the members of Stray Kids’ official fan club, Stay, were able to purchase tickets.

The April 27 and 28 performances were also simultaneously shown in 400 theaters across Japan, with the latter available as a paid online stream to watch at home.

The meet and greet events were themed around “toy worlds,” featuring large-size toy props on stage. It also saw Stray Kids members entering the stage using a large slide.

Stray Kids will release a new single, “Lose My Breath,” featuring U.S. singer-songwriter Charlie Puth on May 10.
