Korean entertainment company HYBE has opened an in-house health care center with trained medical experts, making it the first company in the industry to do so, the company said Wednesday.
 
The center has one doctor and two nurses available to give medical treatment to its employees and artists, according to the company. The in-house doctor is responsible for psychiatric and general treatments.
 
“The health and safety of the company’s employees and artists are inevitably directly connect with the development of the industry,” HYBE said. “We will put our effort into making the company a place where more talents want to work by creating a healthy work environment and rest culture.”

HYBE is one of the biggest entertainment companies in the K-pop industry. It consists of several labels, such as BigHit Music, Source Music, Pledis Entertainment and ADOR, which together are home many popular K-pop groups, including BTS, Seventeen, Tomorrow X Together, Le Sserafim and NewJeans.
