Arte Museum, an immersive media art exhibition space, opened a Dubai branch on Monday.

Created by d’strict, a Korean media design company, Arte Museum launched its first venue in Jeju Island in 2020 and has since expanded to Gangneung in Gangwon, Yeosu in South Jeolla, Las Vegas, Hong Kong and Chengdu.

The Dubai venue is located on the second floor of the Dubai Mall and showcases 14 media art pieces, including some from Korea and the latest works that reflect Dubai’s regional characteristics.

New works are presented in the “Garden” space of the venue, presenting pieces like “Light of Dubai” and “Live Canvas ‘Desert.’”

“We’re thrilled to open an Arte Museum branch in the Middle East region for the very first time,” Lee Sung-ho, CEO of d’strict, said in a press release. “We hope that the unique experience of the Arte Museum, which encompasses visual, auditory and olfactory elements of virtual nature scenery, will be pleasurable and offer relaxation to Dubai citizens and visitors from all over the world.”

Tickets for Arte Museum Dubai begin at 109 AED ($29) for adults, which can be purchased on the official website.
