Samsung Electronics’ Galaxy Ring, first unveiled in January, will make its physical debut at Mobile World Congress 2024 (MWC 2024).
 
This year’s MWC will run for four days starting Monday at the Fira de Barcelona Gran Via convention center in Spain.

The upcoming Galaxy Ring, which was revealed along with the Galaxy S24 series during Galaxy Unpacked 2024, is set to hit the market this year. Samsung said that the wearable device will be comfortable to wear while sleeping. It will also enable the collection of detailed health data, and therefore more personalized health care features, through the Samsung Health app.

The Galaxy Ring devices displayed at the event will come in three colors — black, gold and silver — and nine different sizes.
 
Samsung’s upcoming health care services, alongside the newest AI-enabled Samsung Health features, will be introduced during MWC as well. My Vitality Score, for example, will provide users with customized health care guidance based on their personal data.
 
Samsung will also set up an experience zone for its Galaxy S24 series, where visitors can have a hands-on experience with the latest AI-powered smartphone, including its real-time translation features and Google's “Circle to Search” function, which allows users to search for what's on their screen simply by long-pressing the home button and circling any given element.
 
Other new features include “Note Assist,” which summarizes and streamlines complex texts and “Generative Edit,” which corrects photos that are slanted or missing parts of the subject, enhancing imperfections for more natural output.
 
Samsung Electronics also dedicated a separate zone at its booth for corporate clients in the telecommunication market. Here, it will introduce AI-powered network technologies, such as the Samsung CognitiV Network Operations Suite, where AI automatically sets up networks and analyzes data for optimized resource distribution and more efficient operations, as well as Samsung Energy Efficiency Insight and other next-generation software aimed at boosting the performance and efficiency of 5G base stations.
