BTS's V set to drop R&B love single 'Fri(end)s'

V of boy band BTS will release his new digital single “Fri(end)s” on March 15, his agency BigHit Music said Monday.

The music comes six months after his solo debut EP “Layover” dropped in September last year.

A teaser video for the track showing a barefaced V was uploaded on BTS’s social media page on Sunday, and a promotional image with the letters “FRI()S” on a pink background was uploaded on Monday.

The English track will be a pop-soul R&B love song fitting of spring, BigHit Music said.

The singer is currently in the Korean Army completing his military service. He is expected to finish his mandatory military service in June 2025.
