It was a Korean tour de force at Ceres Park Arena in Aarhus, Denmark on Sunday, with Cho Gue-sung and Lee Han-beom scoring back-to-back goals to lead FC Midtjylland to a 3-2 win over AGF.

코리안리거 조규성과 이한범이 지난 일요일(2월 25일) 덴마크 오르후스 세레스 파크 앤 아레나에서 잇따라 골을 넣고 미트윌란이 AGF를 3-2로 누르는데 기여하며 맹활약했다.

The visitors fell behind early in a messy game in Aarhus, giving up a penalty in the ninth minute that Partick Mortensen made short work of. AGF nearly added a second in the 16th minute, but a VAR review kept Midtjylland in the game.

원정팀 미트윌란은 오르후스에서 열린 혼란스러웠던 경기 초반부터 뒤처졌다. 전반 9분 페널티킥을 내줬고, 패트릭 모르텐센이 이를 쉽게 득점으로 연결했다. AGF는 16분 두 번째 골을 넣는 듯했지만 VAR 판독이 미트윌란의 추가 실점을 막았다.

AGF held on to the lead until the dying minutes of the first half, when Cho came through with a penalty in stoppage time to tie things up going into the break.

AGF는 전반전 종료 직전까지 리드를 유지했지만 하프타임 휴식 시간으로 돌입하기 전 조규성이 추가 시간 페널티킥으로 동점을 만들었다.

Center-back Lee, making his first start since joining the club last summer, piled on just minutes after the break. Lee’s goal was his first for Midtjylland, giving him a goal and an assist in only two league appearances for the Danish club.

지난 여름 팀에 입단한 뒤 첫 선발로 나선 중앙수비수 이한범은 휴식 시간이 끝나자마자 빠르게 골을 추가했다. 미트윌란에서 넣은 그의 첫 번째 골이었으며 이 골로 리그 두 경기만에 1골 1도움을 기록하게 됐다.

AGF tied things up again with another penalty in the 76th minute. Midtjylland, now down to nine men after Paulinho was sent off in the 49th and Sverrir Ingi Ingason in the 75th, salvaged the win with a late stoppage time goal from substitute Charles.

AGF는 후반 31분 또 페널티킥으로 다시 동점으로 만들었다. 이때 미트윌란은 후반 4분에 파울로 빅터, 후반 30분에 스베리르 잉가손이 퇴장당해 9명만 남겨진 상태였으나 교체해 들어간 찰스가 추가 시간 막바지에 골을 넣으며 승리를 따냈다.

Cho returned to the Superliga last week after a difficult trip to the AFC Asian Cup. Korea underperformed at the continental tournament, reaching the semifinals through a combination of luck and late equalizers that the Korean media dubbed zombie football.

조규성은 힘겨웠던 아시안컵 여정을 끝내고 지난주 수페르리가로 복귀했다. 한국은 아시안컵에서 기대에 미치지 못했지만 막판 동점 골과 운이 따르며 4강에 진출했다. 이를 두고 한국 언론은 ‘좀비 축구’라는 별칭을 붙였다.

Cho was a target of the lot of the criticism aimed at the national team as he failed to produce in front of goal and eventually ended up spending part of the tournament relegated to the bench.
