Boy band Stray Kids released its digital single “Mixtape : Time Out” on Monday.

“Aug. 1 is a meaningful day, on which Stray Kids’ fandom STAY got its name [in 2018],” its agency JYP Entertainment said. “The members prepared a surprise gift to celebrate the fandom’s birthday.”

The title track “Mixtape : Time Out” is a rock number written by the members reminiscing on their trip to Gangwon. It features sounds of ocean waves recorded by members during the trip.

This release is the fourth of Stray Kids’ “Mixtape Project,” which the boy band has been releasing since 2019.

Stray Kids debuted in 2018 and consists of members Bang Chan, Lee Know, Changbin, Hyunjin, Han, Felix, Seungmin and I.N. The band is known for hits such as “My Pace” (2018), “Miroh” (2019), “God's Menu” (2020) and “Back Door” (2020).

Its most recent EP “Oddinary” released in March sold over 1 million copies and topped the Billboard 200 albums chart in March.
