Peak power demand posts record high of 93.8GW

Peak power demand in Korea hit a record high as of 5 p.m. on Monday at 93.8 gigawatts, higher than the 93.6 gigawatts seen last summer, the Korea Power Exchange said.
 
The power supply capacity remained stable at 102.3 gigawatts with a reserve supply of 8.5 gigawatts.
 
Last year's peak demand of 93.6 gigawatts was a record high at the time.
