Korean wrestler Kim Seung-jun lost 8-2 to Uzbekistan's Rustam Assakalov in a repechage round of the men's Greco-Roman 97-kilogram contest at the Champ-de-Mars Arena in Paris Wednesday, ending Korea's run in the sport at the Paris Olympics.
He was sent into the repechage bracket after losing 9-0 to Armenia's Artur Aleksanyan in the round of 16 Tuesday.
Kim's repechage loss follows fellow Korean wrestler Lee Seung-chan's exit after his repechage 130-kilogram bout Tuesday.
Kim and Lee were the only two Korean wrestlers competing across the sport at the Games, and both in Greco-Roman — a men-only discipline.
Both were first-time Olympians.
