Transactions of pricey Seoul apartments rise 144 percent compared to last year

Advertisement at a real estate agency in Seoul on Sunday shows rental and sale prices for apartments. The number of transactions of pricey apartments in Seoul is on the rise, with a total of 142 apartments costing more than 5 billion won ($3.7 million) trading hands this year through June. That is up 144 percent compared to same period last year, according to the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport. [YONHAP]
