Merchants and customers affected by TMON and WeMakePrice's liquidity crisis stage a protest holding black umbrellas carrying signs that say "Korea's e-commerce has died" in Yeouido, western Seoul, on Sunday.
The Seoul Metropolitan Government on Sunday increased the maximum loan for affected merchants to 150 million won ($112,043) from 50 million won and also lowered the interest rate to 2.5 percent from 3.5 percent.
