JW Marriott Dongdaemun Square Seoul has been selected as the top hotel in Northern Asia by Condé Nast Traveler's annual 2024 Readers' Choice Awards. 
 
The award is voted on by the American travel magazine's 575,048 readers, who rate their travel experiences across the globe and offer insights into the places they eagerly anticipate revisiting.

JW Marriott Dongdaemun Square Seoul is located in front of the Dongdaemun subway station in Jongno District, central Seoul. It features 170 rooms and facilities, including a LEED (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design) gold-certified swimming pool and fitness center, and the Provence Spa by L’Occitane. 
 
The list includes four other hotels in the region. In order of rank, they are The Ritz-Carlton, Astana in Kazakhstan, Grand Hyatt Seoul in Yongsan District, central Seoul, Four Seasons Hotel Seoul in Jongno District and Park Hyatt Seoul in Gangnam District, southern Seoul.
