Hanyang University holds 20th anniversary ceremony in China

Hanyang University announced Tuesday that its Hanyang University China Center held a 20th anniversary ceremony and met with alumni, also aiming to expand its network to other countries.

Alumni in areas such as Beijing, Hebei and Tianjin attended the anniversary celebration of the Hanyang University China Center held Oct. 12, with 80 being Chinese alumni and four being Korean alumni in the area. The Hanyang University China Center was founded in 2004, in Shanghai.

"Meeting international alumni in China every year has been very meaningful," said Hanyang University President Lee Ki-jeong, during the event. "I feel proud to see alumni being active across various sectors of Chinese society, and hope our alumni will help Hanyang University achieve more and grow as a global university."

The center is in charge of promoting studying at Hanyang University to students in China, and connecting students who go back to China with internships and entrepreneurship programs.
