Korea's hotels capture essence of autumn with relaxing seasonal packages

As temperatures cool, local hotels are launching seasonal packages that offer guests the whole autumn experience. From literature and music to seasonal scents, here are some hotels and resorts where you can make the most of fall.
Banyan Tree Club & Spa Seoul
Through Nov. 30: Banyan Tree Club & Spa Seoul, an urban resort in Jung District, central Seoul, is introducing the Season's Moment package. This package allows guests to enjoy a moment of reflection while gazing out over the changing colors of Mount Namsan.
Guests can focus solely on themselves in a room with a beautiful view of Mount Namsan in the deepening fall colors while enjoying words, music and the scents of the season. The package includes a one-night stay in a room with a relaxation pool, breakfast for two at the Granum Dining Lounge and in-room dining with a chicken and pizza set. Hand cream from lifestyle essentials brand The Publisher with a deep autumnal garden scent through an aromatic blend of bergamot, cedarwood, sandalwood and mandarin is also included. One copy of a chosen poetry book, a playlist of soothing music that captures the spirit of autumn and complimentary access to the indoor pool and fitness center for two round out the package.
Prices begin at 610,000 won ($447) and can vary depending on room type.

Grand Hyatt Seoul
Through Nov. 30: Grand Hyatt Seoul in Yongsan District, central Seoul, is introducing the Seoul Style Getaway, a room package that incorporates trendy local brands that will particularly appeal to the younger generation and international guests.
The package includes exclusive offers from trendy brands in the Hannam-dong and Hangangjin neighborhoods, within 10 minutes of the hotel. The hotel will also provide a special offer coupon book with exclusive deals from fashion and beauty brands located in Hannam-dong, a neighborhood lined with Instagrammable cafes and fashion brands, like Nylora, depound, Le Mont Saint Michel, Supra, City Breeze and Hince.

Sofitel Ambassador Seoul
Through Nov. 30: Sofitel Ambassador Seoul in Songpa District, southern Seoul, is introducing the Fall in Paris package, offering guests the opportunity to enjoy a relaxing stay with a view of Seokchon Lake, dyed in red autumn leaves.
The package includes a one-night upgrade from an existing luxury room to a Luxury Lake Room with a view of Seokchon Lake, breakfast for two at chic bistro Fait Maison, or French breakfast comprised of coffee and croissants for two at gourmet café Jardin d'Hiver, a Sofitel tote bag, a Sofitel art book with descriptions and stories behind the colorful artworks displayed in the hotel, and a specially designed bookmark featuring the design of Sofitel Seoul's hanbok (traditional Korean dress) uniform. The package is available for reservations until Nov. 26 and stays until Nov. 30, and is priced from 407,000 won, including taxes.

GLAD Hotels
Through Nov. 30: GLAD Hotels launched the GLAD Bookstay Package for guests looking to indulge in a relaxing read, collaborating with internationally acclaimed Irish author Claire Keegan.
It includes a one-night stay in a room with a comfortable bedding system, a copy of “Walk the Blue Fields” (2007) and a Glad bookmark. "Walk the Blue Fields" is a collection of Claire Keegan's early works.
The GLAD Bookstay Package is available at three GLAD Hotels in Seoul — GLAD Yeouido, GLAD Mapo, and GLAD Gangnam COEX Center — and Maison GLAD Jeju. Prices start from 130,000 won, excluding tax at GLAD Hotel Seoul and 130,000 and including tax at Maison GLAD Jeju.
