Sejong University announced on Friday that it would launch a student exchange program with California State University San Bernardino.

The universities signed a memorandum of understanding (MOU) to create student exchange and faculty exchange programs.

As of the fall 2024 semester, Sejong University has exchange student programs with 12 universities in the United States. California State University San Bernardino has exchange semester programs with three universities in Korea: Dankook University, Sogang University and the University of Seoul.

Following the MOU, both universities will also collaborate on joint research opportunities.

"Sejong University will continue to create partnerships with other overseas universities to help our students experience education abroad," said Kim Hyung-wook, head of Sejong University's Office of International Affairs.
