Gov"t to Develop Seoul"s Yongsan as a High-Tech District for ForeignersThe government will develop Yongsan district in Seoul as a high-tech site for foreigners.
Seoul mayor, Ko Keon, presented a plan with these proposals to President Kim Dae Jung who visited City Hall on October 22.
To do so, the city office of Seoul's government plans to induce various convention centers and boarding facilities for foreigners in Yongsan, mayor Ko announced.
He also said, ' To develop the sites around Yongsan station, the National Railroad Administration is trying to set up a consortium composed of private companies and government subsidiaries.'
