Jang Dong-gun takes role in thrillerActor Jang Dong-gun will return to the big screen through the new thriller movie “Seven Years of Nightmare” (working title), according to Korean media outlet Star News.
People involved in the movie industry revealed on Thursday that Jang has decided to join the new film and is currently negotiating the details.
Jang will be joined by actor Ryu Seung-ryong, who has also been cast as the lead.
The film has been adapted from Jung Yu-jung’s bestselling novel of the same name published in 2011.
The story revolves around a man who accidentally murders a girl and lives with guilt. The plot unfolds as the murdered girl’s father, Jang, plans for seven years to avenge his daughter’s death by killing the man’s son.
The upcoming flick will start shooting at the latter part of this year and will be unveiled next year.
