The Seriousness of Foreigner"s Aids

Sept 15,1998
As of the end of June, 89 foreign workers have been expelled due to their positive test results to the HIV virus. The Ministry of Health and Welfare (MOHW) announced on September 15 that five foreign workers were expelled from January to June in 1998.

According to regulations, foreign workers should have 'Certificate of HIV Negative' and receive physical examination every six months. However, foreign workers staying illegally can get around this regulation.
