Electo-magnetic Waves Ruled Out as Cause of Recent Car Accidents

Recent testing has shown that car accidents involving automatic transmission vehicles that unexpectantly lurch and jump forward have nothing to do with electro-magnetic waves.
The Ministry of Construction and Traffic(MOCT) announced on November 12 that it drew this conclusion from a joint test conducted by the National Scientific Investigation Institute and the Consumer Protection Board. The test was carried out to find if electro-magnetic radiation were responsible for a recent spate of accidents in which four Korean made cars and one BMW inexiplicable sprang forward crashing into vehicles ahead of them.
This was the first official test conducted by MOCT to ascertain the cause of the phenomenon. A source at the MOCT said, 'There were various reactions like signal lights and wiper activation on some test cars but no sudden lurching or forward motion, when 30 volt electro-magnetic waves were applied from a distance of one meters.'
'In the case of actress Kim Soo Mi's BMW, there was no sudden forward motion even with 100 volt eletro-magnetic waves. However the engine stopped.', he added.
