Only Real Names on PC Communications

Personal computer communications and the Internet are open to anyone with a computer, but from now on only for those using their real names, the Ministry of Information and Communication announced on December 6.
Furthermore, those who use false names or aliases will be automatically excluded from the entrance list.
The Ministry said, 'At the moment, a lot of users were delaying paying fees by way of using alias, wrong addresses and telephone numbers and quite a few of them enjoyed using inappropriate and offensive language anonymously.
The institute therefore will connect with an on-line credit information service network to weed out violators.
From mid-December, the government will refer all 4.7 million customers to a host computer to record and verify their names and addresses.
