Lee Blames Gov"t for Forced Semicon Deal
Lee Hoi Chang, president of the opposition Grand National Party(GNP) blamed the government for forcing the semi-conductor business trade.Lee said in a December 27 party conference meeting, 'The semicon 'Big Deal' encroached upon market economy principles and self-autonomy. Although LG is insisting the process was unfair, the government is threatening LG by withdrawing bank loans. There is also a new dangerous political-economical adhesion behind the forced deal.'
He continued, 'It is the core sphere of the Kim Dae Jung administration's bureaucratic politics in a nutshell.'
