Gov"t Announces Gov"t Officials" Change in Assets
The government announced changes in assets, occurring between early 1998 to year end, of 639 senior officials including President Kim Dae Jung on February 26.According to the announcement, 532 persons' assets increased, 94 decreased and 13 had no change.
Eighty-one people had their assets grow by more than 100 million won while six unfortunate officials saw assets decrease by more than 100 million won.
The total assets of president Kim Dae Jung including his wife, Lee Hee Ho's, increased by 31.99 million won to 918.85 million won.
