Ramyon Contains Too Much Salt

A study has revealed that 34 percent of one company's ramyon is salt, and up to 6.2 grams of salt will be consumed in the course of eating a bowl of ramyon.
JoongAng Ilbo, along with the Korean Food and Drug Administration and the Citizens Alliance for Consumer Protection, collected 24 different packs of ramyon made by five ramyon manufacturers.
Subsequent analysis revealed that one company's sample contained 6.2g of salt, the largest of those surveyed, and its other ramyon product also contained 6g of salt.
The average salt content of all the ramyon sampled was 4.3 g, which approaches the recommended daily allowance of 4.5g of salt suggested by the U.S. National Academy of Sciences.
