Hospital Groups Angry With Agreement

Four major hospital groups showed their displeasure with an agreement made between the medical doctors' association and pharmacists' association, designed to separate the health industry.
The Korea Hospital Association, one of the members, announced on May 11 saying, 'The agreement totally ignored basic principles of convenience for the customer and misapplied the most important principles of medicine.
It insisted that the the medicine prescribed in the hospital is often very complex so customers have to go around lots of drugstores to fill their prescriptions.
These groups also opposed part of the agreement that which allows pharmacists to make medicines that doctors prescribed.
