[LETTERS TO THE EDITOR]Vet clinic too good for some shops
We recently bought a puppy from “Champion Pets” in Chungmuro. He was diagnosed with parvo three days later and had to be put to sleep. The store offered us another dog at half price; We wanted a medical exam, and the clerk said not to use Youn Sin-keun’s clinic (JoongAng Daily, Feb. 25) because it was too expensive and did unnecessary tests. Another clinic checked the dog briefly and said everything was fine. Five days later, the puppy was diagnosed with distemper and was put to sleep.I could not believe that these people could mistreat puppies and customers this way. I only recently found your story about Mr. Youn on your Internet site; I wonder if he knows that pet stores are trying to steer people away from him?
