[LETTERS TO THE EDITOR]Language too vulgar
Published: 27 Feb. 2003, 01:18
With the emergence of Korea’s film industry, I feel very comfortable with Korean movies and enjoy them very often.
I would like, however, to offer my small opinion pertaining to the language used in the films. Many of the movies that I have enjoyed contain extremely vulgar language that seems unnecessary for the overall story. Some of the words just drew a cloud over an otherwise well-made movie.
I am often very pleased with the acting and plot. But the vulgar language makes it difficult to watch great Korean movies with my family.
