[LETTERS TO THE EDITOR]Bus sensors need a fix

The recent changes Seoul undertook in its public transportation system are full of problems. One thing that needs to be fixed urgently is the shape of the bus card machine.
The plates of the new machines attached on the buses are slightly sunken, making it difficult for the mechanical sensors to read people’s cards. The plate should protrude.
I remember that the old buses had plates that were swollen so that it was possible for commuters to skim their bags over the machines without taking their cards out.
