Day tripping for expats
About 300 expats and Koreans make a day trip to Nami Island, a small tourist island in Chuncheon, Gangwon, to mark the fifth International Friends Day held by BBB, a volunteer group of over-the-phone interpreters. BBB, which stands for “Before Barbel Brigade,” has over 3,700 volunteers who speak 17 different languages and provide around-the-clock interpretation services for foreigners.
