Juno hits top 3 on Oricon chart

Juno, singer and brother of Junsu from boy band JYJ, has reached the third spot on the Oricon chart.

JYJ member Junsu’s twin brother released a new single in Japan on Dec. 21. The song titled “Believe” was the second single released by Juno, the elder of the twins.

According to the singer's Korean agency Media And Partners, the track steadily climbed the Oricon Singles Chart in Japan and reached third place on Dec. 28. In addition, the song has been named the theme song for a Japanese drama on the Bee TV network.

Juno made his debut in Japan on Aug. 3 and released his first single “Fate” on Aug. 31, securing a spot within the top 15 songs on the daily chart. In addition to singing, Juno has dabbled in acting and appeared on a Japanese drama on Bee TV.

The entertainer has signed up with a Japanese agency called Avex and is looking to broaden his horizons in Japan and China in particular.

The singer’s Korean agency has said of Juno, “He is an excellent performer and his good looks have really helped him launch his career in Japan. Juno is flooded with contract offers from cosmetic companies as well as various other industries. Next year the singer will look toward performing and hosting fan meetings in Korea as well as abroad. There is no limit to what he can do and Juno will look upon all acting opportunities as well.”
