Actor Park Si-hoo to take part in a Japanese fashion show

Eyagi Entertainment reported on Jan. 10 that actor Park Si-hoo will make a special appearance at Japanese designer Yumi Katsura’s show next month. The “Yumi Katsura 2012 Grand Collection in Tokyo” is set to take place on Feb. 21 and is a wedding couture show. The theme for this year’s collection is named “The Wind of Asia.”

The world-class wedding couture designer’s show is a highly regarded event on the Japanese fashion calendar. Park will appear as the representative model for Korea while other models have been selected to represent China and Japan, including Japanese figure skater Ando Miki and Chinese actor Hu Bing.

“Park has risen to fame in Korea and Japan where he is recognized as a credible actor. Thus he was specially invited to take part in this year’s collection,” said a representative from Eyagi Entertainment.

The year 2012 marks the 17th year since the wedding dress designer’s debut.

Meanwhile, Park made his debut in 2005 with the drama “Sassy Girl Chun-hyang.” He rose to insurmountable fame after starring in last year’s hit drama “Princess’ Man,” a period piece that garnered him the Best Actor prize at last December’s KBS Entertainment Awards.
