Korean-American Idol to have a crack at Korea

Paul Kim rose to fame by appearing on “American Idol” in 2007, finishing as one of the top 24 contestants. After being active in the United States through his official Web site and YouTube, the Korean-American entertainer announced that he will attempt to make it in the Korea.
The 30-year old contestant, who released an album titled “You Left Me For That” last year, will launch a digital single titled “The Answer to My Life” on Feb. 8 and will begin promoting himself and the track in the Korean market.
The singer-songwriter from the popular U.S show has a substantial fan base in the United States and even the backing of a famous entertainer. In a video on the star’s YouTube channel, which has more than 30,000 followers, Shawn Stockman from Boyz II Men praised Kim and offered his support.
