Moon Ji-ae

MBC anchorwoman Moon Ji-ae and reporter Jeon Jong-hwan will tie the knot on May 4.

Ilgan Sports reported that the couple will get married at Villa de Bailey, an up-market wedding center in Sinsa-dong, southern Seoul. After the wedding, the two will move into an apartment in Cheongdam-dong, southern Seoul.

The two met at work and attended performances and dinners together. In 2007, Jeon confessed his feelings to the newscaster, and the two began dating.

Last October, Moon used her blog to reveal to her followers that she had been dating Jeon for more than four years.

“He’s always the same, totally dependable. He’s honest and patient, which I like. He has written lots of letters to me. Through his letters, I grew to love him more,” Moon wrote on her blog.

Moon started working for MBC in 2006 and is currently hosting “Weekend News Desk” along with anchorman Choi Il-gu. By Carla Sunwoo
