Big Bang

Big Bang is preparing for the Japanese leg of its world tour, which will bring the K-pop group to five cities across the East Sea for 13 concerts.

The five-member boy band will wrap up promotions for its fifth album “Alive” in Korea on Sunday, performing one last time on SBS’s “Popular Songs.”

In early March, Big Bang kicked off its tour in Seoul. The group will make its way through 16 countries in Asia, the Americas and Europe over the next year.

Their EP that was released on Feb. 29 is still one of the best-performing albums in the country.

Its seven tracks have all been included on the top 10 singles chart and to date, the album has sold more than 270,000 copies, making “Alive” the best-selling album of the year so far.

On YouTube, the videos “Blue,” “Fantastic Baby” and “Bad Boy” have amassed 19 million, 17 million and 11 millions hits, respectively.

Big Bang only released these videos online two months ago.
