Super Junior has now topped the music ranking on Taiwanese Web site KKBox for 100 weeks when statistics for two of its most popular songs are combined.

As of Saturday, “Mr. Simple” from Super Junior’s fifth album had been at No. 1 on the weekly K-pop 100 chart for 37 consecutive weeks. Previously, “Beauty” was No. 1 on the same chart from June 2010 until August 2011 over 63 consecutive weeks.

“We are stoked to hear that we were No. 1 for 100 weeks in a row,” the band told local news Web site Dispatch upon being congratulated for the achievement. “It’s incredible and again we’d like to thank our fans. We are doing all this for you.”

The boy group is currently in the middle of its “Super Show 4” tour that traveled across the world from Indonesia to Paris. On May 12 and 13, the band will perform for 100,000 fans at Tokyo Dome in Japan.

“Super Show 4” got its start in Korea, and the group will also end the tour with special encore performances in its home country on May 26 and 27.
