Tim

Hallyu singer Tim has topped more than 10 music charts in Indonesia with his duet song “Saranghapnida” (“I Love You”) with Indonesian songstress Astrid Sartiasari.

The song was released in Indonesia back in April and will be used as the theme song for the Korean-Indonesian drama “I Love You,” set to air in July.

The drama is set in both Korea and Indonesia and will tell the story of love that blossoms despite cultural differences.

It has been shot in tourist hotspots in both nations and was financed in part by the Korea Tourism Organization and a corresponding Indonesian tourism organization.

The 30-part drama is a joint venture between the production companies Asia Top Entertainment and Digital Network and includes famed Indonesian actress Revalina S. Temat and director Indrayanto Kurniawan.

Tim is a 30-year-old Korean-American who was born and raised in Pennsylvania. He made his debut in Korea in 2003 with the album “I Love You.”
