테스트

K-pop groups Big Bang and Wonder Girls’ new songs dominated online music charts as soon as they were released over the weekend, heating up the local music scene.

On Saturday midnight, five-member boy band Big Bang released new songs from the album “Still Alive.” The title song “Monster” topped online music charts on Cyworld, Mnet, Bugs and Soribada. Other songs on the album, such as “Ego,” “Feeing” and “Bingle Bingle” all climbed the charts soon after their release. The band’s agency, YG Entertainment, said the album will be available for purchase starting Wednesday.

Meanwhile, five-member girl group Wonder Girls also released a mini-album called “Wonder Party” on Saturday at midnight. Its title song “Like this,” and other songs such as “Girlfriend” and “Hey Boy” also climbed the online music charts.

Wonder Girls’ agency, JYP Entertainment, said the group will appear on Friday on “Music Bank” on KBS2. The group will also hold a concert on July 7 at Jamsil Indoor Gymnasium, southern Seoul. By Joo Kyung-don
