Jang Keun-suk may be the prince of Oricon, too

“Just Crazy” sold more than 88,000 copies in less than one week and managed to be the number one album on the Oricon’s weekly chart.
This is the first time in more than eight years that a male artist has topped the named chart with a debut album. The last musician to do so was Japanese singer Naotaro Moriyama.
Meanwhile, this is the first time in Oricon history for a foreign male artist to claim such a feat in Japan.
In the whole foreign artists’ debut album category, Jang will come in at second place after Hallyu songstress BoA, who topped the same chart back in 2002 with her Japanese debut album “Listen to My Heart.”
