Kim Soo-hyun, the 24-year-old star actor of the moment, will look to make a name for himself in Japan when he visits in July to promote the Japanese airing of the KBS hit drama “The Moon that Embraces the Sun.”
On Monday and Tuesday, Kim will take part in promotional activities and press conferences for the period drama that catapulted him to the center of the Korean entertainment industry.
The promotion takes place just ahead of the Japanese debut of the drama, which is set to air from July via satellite channel KNTV.
Entertainment insiders are watching closely and many are wondering if Kim’s fame in Korea will catch on in Japan.
The 24-year-old’s agency said it is confident that Kim will appeal to the Japanese public.
