KARA and Jay Park to perform on World Stage

In the words of the entertainers’ agencies, “the two have been picked as Korean representatives”: Hallyu girl band KARA and Jay Park are set to perform at MTV World Stage 2012, taking place in Malaysia on July 14.
“It’s such an honor to be invited to a global music event. It’s a bit nerve-wracking to think that so many will be watching the show,” said Park.
The concert, now approaching its fourth year, will also boast Justin Bieber as one of the acts in the lineup.
Other Korean acts to have taken part in previous years were Wonder Girls (2010) and Beast (2011).
This year’s show will hit the airwaves next month in some 160 countries.
