SHINee thrills in Taipei performances
Boy band SHINee carried on with its “SHINee World II” tour in Taipei after starting off in Korea in July.
On Saturday and Sunday, the group entertained more than 18,000 Taiwanese fans with an array of hits from “Ring Ding Dong” to “Oxygen.”
Members also took turns performing solo, and the fans also treated Key to a birthday song for his special day coming up Sept. 23.
The concert was notable for its use of various props and technology, including a massive LED screen, moving stage, lasers and water works.
The next stops on the tour will be Hong Kong in October and Singapore in December.
In the meantime, the band will perform with fellow agency members as part of the “SM Town Live World Tour III” in Jakarta on Sept. 22.
The agency’s tour started in Los Angeles in May and made its way to Seoul in late August.
In addition to SHINee, the lineup included Kangta, BoA, TVXQ, Super Junior, Girls’ Generation and f(x).
