‘Infinite Challenge’ postponed again
Recording of the next episode of “Infinite Challenge” has been postponed due to Gil leaving the show.
On Wednesday, a representative of the MBC variety show said the plan to record yesterday was canceled after the decision by the Leessang member.
Although MBC hasn’t announced exactly why Gil called it quits, many are speculating that it’s due to the fiasco that erupted when his production company - Leessang Company - came under fierce attack from the public for trying to charge absurd amounts for a concert it was to host.
In November, the agency was to open the “Super 7 Concert” featuring the seven members from the show. Fans were outraged when the tickets proved to be way too expensive.
After tickets went on sale, netizens began their verbal attack at the hip-hop group of which Gil is a part.
While Gil has stepped away from the MBC show, the other half of his band, Garie, has also quit the show “Running Man” in which he had been a regular contestant.
