SM to hold auditions across region

테스트

SM Entertainment knows a thing or two about recruiting. The agency that represents the likes of BoA, TVXQ and Girls’ Generation will take to the
road beginning next month to find its next big thing.

SM announced yesterday that from Jan. 25 until March 10, representatives will make their way around Seoul, Incheon, Daejeon, Gwangju, Daegu and Busan to hold a “2013 Global Audition in Korea.”

The agency said that applicants of any background, nationality and age may apply. The search will be broken down into four divisions: singing, dancing, modeling and acting.

Winners of the respective segments will be given the chance to sign with the agency.

After the national audition, the agency said that it hopes to hold auditions abroad as it did this year.

“We expect a lot of hopefuls to apply,” said the agency, which saw tens of thousands vie for a spot at this year’s casting call.

Those interested are able to apply online through the agency’s official Web site.
