2PM has signed on to teach Korean to Japanese TV viewers for another year. JYP Entertainment announced yesterday that the group renewed its contract with NHK on Thursday.

The language show hosted by the boy band airs every Monday at 10 p.m., and for 25 minutes, the stars present everyday situations as they dispense know-how on the Korean language.

The segment began airing last April, and according to JYP, the network was won over by the group’s professionalism.

“It is very rare for the same artist to host a show for two consecutive years,” said a JYP spokesperson. “The network personnel are very impressed with 2PM so far.”

The band also said it was stoked at the contract renewal.

“Like last year, we hope to do our best in the year ahead,” said the group.

The band is currently in the middle of its Japanese Arena Tour. By the end of this month, the boys will have performed for 150,000 fans there.
