Newbie Roy Kim denies dating rumors
Singer Roy Kim has denied rumors that he is dating singer-turned-actress Park Su-jin soon after local media reported the possible relationship yesterday.“It is true that the two met a couple of times with some favorable feelings [toward each other], but they are not currently seeing each other,” said Kim’s agency yesterday.
“As Roy Kim just took his first step into the music scene with his debut album ‘Love Love Love,’ [we] want fans to encourage him to be more passionate about music and focus on music activities.”
Kim released a title song of the same name on Monday, and it has been ranked high on local music charts.
Previously, other local reports said that the two started to develop feelings for each other in February when Kim was sitting in as a temporary DJ at a radio show and Park was a guest on the show.
Park said at the time that she has been a fan of Kim as she watched every episode of “Superstar K4” when Kim was competing.
The reports then said Kim and Park spend most of their time together in Samseong-dong, southern Seoul, where Kim lives. It said the two had tried to avoid attention from others as both are busy with their TV schedules and other engagements.
