It will be 2NE1’s first release of a new song after a one-year hiatus.
The teaser poster gives cool and tropical feelings with neon-colored letters that spell “Falling in Love” in a background of lush palm trees.
2NE1 is set to unveil one song every month until October to keep fans’ attention throughout the second half of the year.
“Falling in Love” is a reggae song, a genre the hip-hip girl group has never tried before. Yet the song is expected to be widely loved since it features the group’s unique character and strengths and it goes well with the summer.
