Lexy quits show over sketchy editing

Rapper Lexy, who was one of the hosts of the survival rap audition program “Show Me the Money 2,” is stepping down from the show after expressing discomfort over how producers edited the program.

Earlier this month, Lexy said on her Twitter account that the channel edited tapings to make her look disrespectful to fellow rappers and a sore loser. She later deleted the controversial tweet.

“It was never intended, but we are sincerely sorry that Lexy was hurt by the program,” said a representative of “Show Me the Money,” which airs on cable outlet Mnet.

“We have resolved all the personal misunderstandings and hope we will meet again through a good show.”

But Lexy won’t be showing up starting from tomorrow’s episode.

“I’m very sorry for the fans who have cheered me on the program,” said Lexy.

“Although I still feel bad that I only had a limited opportunity to show people my ideas, it was a good chance to communicate through music.”
