‘Gentleman’ tops Youtube milestone
Psy’s music video for “Gentleman” has been viewed more than 500 million times on YouTube as of yesterday, reports his agency YG Entertainment.The milestone came 109 days after the song’s release on April 13.
The half-billion views make “Gentleman” the 10th most-viewed video on the video streaming Web site.
Psy’s previous hit, “Gangnam Style,” is still the most-viewed video ever, with more than 1.7 billion views.
Among the most-watched Korean YouTube videos, the top three are all by Psy.
Following the No. 1 “Gangnam Style” and No. 2 “Gentleman” is “Oppa Is Just My Style,” a version of “Gangnam Style” sung by Hyuna of the girl group 4Minute, with more than 393 million views.
Psy is currently staying in Los Angeles, preparing to release a new album in September.
