Park Ji-yoon ending hiatus

Singer Park Ji-yoon will join singer Yoon Jong-shin to make a comeback to the music scene.

According to the two singers’ agency, Mystic 89, they are planning to release a duet titled “Goodbye.”

“Yoon and Park sang a sentimental ballad that can match well with the early fall weather that has cooled down,” the agency said yesterday.

The original song was included on Yoon’s fourth album, released in 1995, which was featured by singer Jang Hye-jin, who garnered wider popularity through the MBC survival entertainment program “I’m A Singer” in 2012.

The new recording of the song was released yesterday through the 2013 Monthly Yoon Jong Shin project’s September edition, which the singer has been running since 2010 to introduce more of his songs.

With the song, Park will end her year-long hiatus from the music industry since her eighth album, “Dream of Becoming a Tree,” was released last year.
