G-Dragon back in ‘Black’
Having just released a new album, G-Dragon, leader of the boy group Big Bang, won this week’s “M Countdown” on cable channel Mnet.G-Dragon, born Kwon Ji-yong, took the competitive prize with a performance of his song “Black.”
“It feels good to be on top, especially when I am making a comeback performance,” he said as he accepted the award.
“I will work even harder in the future.”
In addition to shouting out a thanks to all the people who helped him make the record, G-Dragon also took a moment to thank himself - during the encore, he called out “Congratulations, Ji-yong.”
