ABC’s ‘Mistresses’ gets second season

Korean actress Yunjin Kim will continue to be on the American TV show “Mistresses” after ABC decided to renew the show for a second season.

The show premiered in July and aired its 13th and final episode of the season last week. The show tells the stories of four friends from college, each going through some dramatic relationship problems with their boyfriends and husbands.

Kim, who is currently working on her second Hollywood-produced TV drama, plays psychiatrist Karen Kim.

It has been reported that the copyright of the show has been sold in about 40 countries and local cable channel OCN plans to air the show on Oct. 7.

Meanwhile, Kim is currently back in Korea filming for “International Market” directed by Yoon Je-gyun, who also directed the 2009 movie “Tidal Wave.”
